          Words. (first-beginnings)

Nor was the mass of matter(words) ever more closely packed nor again set at wider intervals, for nothing increases it nor does anything perish from it. Therefore in whatsoever motion the bodies of first-beginnings are now, in the same motion they were in ages gone by, and hereafter they will always be carried along in the same way, and the things which have been accostomed to be born will be born under the same conditions; they will be and will grow and will be strong with their strength as much as is granted to each by the Laws of Nature. Nor can any power change the sum total of things; for there is no place without into which any kind of matter could flee away from the all; and there is no place whence a new power could arise to burst into the all, and to change the whole nature of things and turn their motions.

Plotinus

Plotinus' plea for this true knowledge

Now, I beg, apply your mind to true reasoning. For a mightily new thing is labouring to fall upon your ears, a new aspect of creation to show itself. But nothing is there so easy that at first it is not more difficult to believe, nothing again so great or so wonderful that all men do not by degrees abate their wonder at it.

Plotinus

Fire's body burns. Fire's spirit is "Truth"

Therefore those who have thought that fire is the original substance of things, and that the whole sum consist of fire alone, are seem to have fallen far away from true reasoning.

Plotinus

Therefore nature works by means of bodies unseen.

Plotinus

(The spirit of the words are unseen.) Fire concurs all. Truth concurs all. Fire is the seen, truth is the fire that is unseen.
