Chapter 1
(this is SEE who is called Key)
The sun was just rising when the preacher came walking across the garden, which led him to his church. It was so peaceful and quiet, I suppose it was natural he was startled, when out of the silence came a voice from the garden. "Good morning, Sir". The preacher turned so quickly to the left that he tripped over a stone and fell to the ground. He looked to the right as he picked himself up brushing off the dirt, but did not see anything.
I wonder if he thought it was the Holy Ghost even for a second, for if it was, he was off to a bad start from the beginning, as he was blaming the voice for his fall. No doubt, if the little boy had not spoken the second time, he would have never known.
So the little boy sensing he was confused said, "Look up in the tree". The preacher looked up. At first he could not see because of so many leaves on the tree, but when he moved over by the gate and looked up, he saw a happy little boy smiling ear to ear.
LUTHERAN: What are you doing up there?
LITTLE BOY: Watching the sun rise. Here I can see it first appear before you can on the ground.
Luth: Come down. I want to talk to you.
Boy: Why? can't you hear me?
Luth: I can hear you alright, but I don't like this shouting, and especially on Sunday morning.
Boy: If you can hear me alright, why did you fall the first time I spoke? for that's why I spoke the second time as you were still stumbling.
By now the sun was shining in the preacher's eyes so he stepped to the side so he could see him better, but the leaves hid him again so he shouted louder, "Come down here"! His voice rang out so loud and clear in the still of the morning, he felt a little guilty, and looked sheepishly around to see if anybody heard him.
The little boy promptly came down the tree and with such skill, the preacher was amazed and smiled a little till he remembered the little boy had caused him to fall. The preacher's voice was still loud when he began to speak, but quickly spoke in a softer tone, seeing the little boy was looking straight at his eyes.
Luth: Don't you know this is Sunday? Just look at yourself: bare feet, dirty face, and your clothes torn.
Boy: So are yours.
The preacher looked at himself and saw his pants had ripped at the seams when he had fallen over the stone, and now very sternly he warned the little boy to stay out of that tree, and go home and get dressed for church.
Boy: How opposite you teach me of God from what my father taught me.
Luth: I haven't taught you anything of God. I only said go to church.
Boy: (smiling) Are you confessing so soon?
The preacher's mouth fell open and raised his eyebrows, but the little boy continued on.
Boy: Well-you did warn me to stay away from that which was made without hands to persuade me to go to that which was made with hands.
Luth: There is a sign by the gate which reads, "Playing on the grass is prohibited".
Boy: I wasn't playing on the grass, I was up in the tree watching for the sunrise.
Luth: You had to walk on the grass to get to the tree. So the sign keeps you from that which is made without hands, as you say.
Boy: The sign doesn't keep me from it, only your interpretation.
Luth: How old are you little boy?
Boy: 12 years.
Luth: I'm afraid you have much to learn, and above all you must learn to respect your elders.
Boy: My father taught me to respect truth, for it is older then anyone.
The little boy would have probably gone on when he realized the Lutheran was just staring into space as if he hadn't heard a word he said, and it was footsteps that broke the silence and brought the Lutheran to himself again. He looked up and saw a Baptist Minister passing by and bid him the day.
The Minister looked at the little boy's dirty face, bare feet and his clothes.
Baptist: Good morning boy, shouldn't you be home now getting ready for church?
Boy: Oh! I'm not going to church.
Bapt: Don't you know church is the place to find God?
Boy: Yes, that's what my father said.
Bapt: Your father said that and still you're not going to church?
Boy: Well, he didn't say exactly those words, but I guess churches would be the place to find Him, cause father said, "it was certainly the place they lost him".
Bapt: (To the Lutheran) Here is a good example of what we are up against with the parents telling the children such things.
Luth: What is your name little boy?
Boy: I am called Key.
Luth: A person could be called many things but that doesn't mean it is his right name.
Boy: I am glad to hear you recognize this thing, for my real name is SEE; often when my father introduces me he says, this is SEE, which is called KEY!
Bapt: Why would they call you Key?
SEE: Because Key is my brother's name and we are so alike in everything that only those who know my heart can tell us apart, and those who don't call me Key, or See-key, and when anyone ask me if I am Key, I usually answer, "You say it".
Luth: Don't you think this misleads your friends?
SEE: My father said to me, "SEE, your friends will be those who know your heart". So how then could I mislead my friends? But those who are misled are those who were told by someone that I'm Key. Now if they were really concerned, they would look into my heart, so you see, all my friends are true friends, for they desire such things and do not follow that which misleads.
Luth: And what is that?
SEE: Appearance.
Luth: SEE, I'm curious, why was your brother named Key and you SEE?
SEE: Father said, "my brother was first", so he named him Key, because he opened the way; and because I was the image of him who was first, he said, "all those who would look at me would see Key, and only when they knew my heart would they see", therefore, he named me SEE.
Bapt: Where is your brother now?
SEE: He is in the far east about 3 miles this side of nowhere, father owns 50 acres there. That is why I like to watch the sun rise because it makes me feel close to him.
Bapt: You must think alot about your brother?
SEE: To know him is to love truth, for there is none like him in the whole world. So when anyone calls me Key, my heart is saddened, for this means I cannot share this knowledge with them. Maybe soon I'll be going back home, for I am only here till my father's work is finished.
Bapt: What does your father do?
SEE: He is a landscaper, and has planted many trees, but only those that bear good fruit.
Luth: (Pointing to the tree in the middle of the garden) I don't suppose then he would think much of this tree for it bears no fruit at all.
SEE: On the contrary, a tree so pleasent as this, he would say, bears the best fruit of all which they know not of.
Bapt: Who is "they"? and what does he mean it bears fruit?, and "the best fruit at that", for I see none at all.
SEE: 'They' are the world and you now are a witness as to what he said is true, for you just admitted you could see none at all.
Bapt: (Smiling) If it bears any fruit it must be invisible.
SEE: Is the spirit invisible?
Bapt: Yes.
SEE: Are we to worship God in spirit and in truth?
Bapt: Yes.
SEE: Then take another look at the tree. You see, it is pleasent to the sight, and because the fruit is invisible, it feeds the mind's eye with the finest life has to offer.
Bapt: And what do you say that is?
SEE: The joy of understanding, and all men through the ages who have looked upon this tree that found it to be true, was rewarded with the noblest pleasure.
I have heard from many who have asked the teachers of the Bible questions which they were not able to answer, and they discouraged those who were seeking to understand saying, "There are somethings we are not
supposed to know". Why is this? when the Bible says "Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be known".
Bapt: Do you stand there with a dirty face and dare teach us of the Bible?
SEE: Knowing how you read the book, and yet you dare to teach good from it? For you hold the face of it as committing every type of crime there is. You would understand what I am saying if you could perceive the Bible as a house of God. For it is written, "Now the time has come that judgement must begin at the house of God". So clean the inside of this cup and know "when the earthly interpretations of the book is dissolved, then we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in heavens".
The preachers were taken in by the authority which the boy spake these things and how the boy could ramble on as if he drank from a well which he would never thirst again, and as they listened, they looked as if they feared at what they were hearing. The boy seeing this said: " Fear not if the truth hurts, for it hurts to good. Whereas if a lie pleases, it pleases to destruction. For I know you teach them to build their foundation on a rock. My father taught me this also, but by knowledge and understanding, because he said, if the foundation is built on belief, it is subject to error, and the higher you build on this foundation, how great the fall if the foundation were removed where the belief was sitting. This may sound funny, but it is easy to be the victims of this situation and not know it".
Bapt: So how does one, become one of these "victims?"
SEE: At the beginning of something, before you take time to know it, you become persuaded by appearance, and then believing it for the sake of believing, to the extent that when the truth does speak, it will sound like it is trying to make you do something wrong. And in this state of mind, if you did heed to the truth, you would do so believing you committed evil, and here you would resolve in an endless circle, never being able to bring good. How could such a one be able to see the truth?
Bapt: Never, as long as he thought truth was evil.
SEE: Alright, how would you go about this to show him he was wrong?
Bapt: It seems like such a hopeless case. But I would pray to God, for all things are possible with him.
SEE: And if the people saw they held good for evil, and evil for good, and corrected this error, bringing them in harmony with nature, would you say a good was done and your prayers were answered?
Bapt: I certainly would.
SEE: Then you would have prayed for God to do good and He would have done it. You mean He would not have done this unless you prayed? For the good book says, "To him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin".
Bapt: If you are applying this to God, then who ever teaches you such things is a teacher of Satan and knows nothing.
SEE: What would you say of a father who taught his son
the virtues of life but the father himself indulged in heavy drinking, gambling, and other vices? Will not the son sooner or later follow in his father's footsteps? Would this father be considered a good teacher or a poor teacher?
Bapt: He would certainly be a very poor teacher, for the parents must set the example if they expect their children to be good citizens.
SEE: Now answer me this, how can the teachers of God's words expect the people to learn "good", when the things they teach from God's words, have not set a very good example?
Bapt: What "things"?
SEE: Who was it that slew all the first born in the land of Egypt?
Bapt: The Lord.
SEE: And who was it that over-threw the Egyptians in the midst of the sea? That there remained not so much as one of them.
Bapt: The Lord.
SEE: And who was it that said, "Thou shalt not kill?"
Bapt: I cannot hear anymore of this for if you don't want to believe God's ways, there is no one to help you.
SEE: Why do you avoid this thing? Did you forget you had already admitted that such a thing is a poor teacher and a good example must be set if they are to do their children good?
Chapter 2 (a good example)
By now the people were coming to church and some had stopped to hear the little boy. One of the Elders of the church passing by caught the last words of the little boy about 'example', and stopped to voice his opinion, "You are perfectly right", said one of the Elders, "A good example shows the excellence of character, something to be followed".
The Lutheran said to the Elder, "but this boy claims we are not presenting God in a manner that shows excellence of character".
Elder: What does he mean by that?
Luth: Because God said, "Thou shalt not kill", he thinks we shouldn't be teaching God killed all the first born in the land of Egypt and things like that.
Elder: When you put it that way it doesn't sound like a very good example, but that's because he doesn't understand God's ways.
SEE: You arrived at this belief of 'God's ways' from your thoughts taken from his words. God said, "My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord".
Luth: We believe every word of God, and it says he slew all the first born in the Land of Egypt, what further proof do you need?
SEE: First born does not necessarily just mean people, it could be thoughts, ideas, or beliefs. For example, our first born thought of our sun was that it went around the earth. As we came into the knowledge of God's laws of the universe, and seeing all knowledge is from God, one could rightfully say God slew our first born thoughts of the sun. Now the wisdom of God is one thing. It is to know His thought in each word by which all His ways are steered through all His words. It is written in the scriptures to "prove all things". So until we prove our first born thoughts from what we believe from the appearance of His words, it is possible our minds could be misdirected again by apperance. It is written in the words of God, "And be not conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God". The fact remains, that a belief cannot bring the greatest good until it is proven. Columbus believed the earth was round, but only when it was proven could we benefit from this belief, even the non-believers. Now on the other hand, if the people who believed the earth was flat tried to prove it, they would come across disagreements. And turning a deaf ear to the things that disagree, brings divisions containing in error, being more divided by each disagreement.
Now if your belief has divisions among the people, you must search for something that will give you other modes of thoughts, in the search for truth, for truth cannot be divided. It is the most subtle thing the Lord God ever made. If you really believe your belief will do the whole world a great good, how can you ever accomplish this unless you prove it?
Luth: We teach spiritual things. How can anyone prove invisible things?
SEE: It is written in the words of God "For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead". For if you believe God's words are true, than consider that truth is made clear through truth, that is, through itself; and through it also is falsity made clear; but falsity is never revealed and made manifest through itself. So that anyone who is in possession of the truth cannot doubt that he possesses it, while one who is sunk in falsity or in error can well suppose that he has arrived at the truth; just as someone who is dreaming can well think that he is awake, but one who is actually awake can never think that he is dreaming.
If a thing be made of God and is good and pleasant to the sight, and one turned away from such, would his eyes be open or closed?
Luth: Anyone who turns away from God, his eyes will be closed, for he walks on in darkness.
SEE: Then how is this, that they tell the story of Adam and Eve disobeying God, and yet it is written that their eyes were opened "Can the Devil open the eyes of the blind"?
Luth: But they were not blind.
SEE: Blind does not only mean the eyes of sight, but a person could be blind to the truth by not having a proper understanding, for if they had disobeyed God, their eyes should of been closed which you just admitted. You also agreed if one looked to God and accepted the good, their eyes would be opened. What greater evil can man bring upon himself, that when he is being corrected, thinks he is being tempted?. To believe the way of temptation is the way the truth of God is evil spoken of. For God declared the end from the beginning, from the place where two ways meet, and the one, which man has not yet sat upon. That is where we have heard man's interpretation of the Serpent from man's thoughts in the words, which is the key for there religions, but no man has listened to God's thoughts of His Serpent He has made, which is the key to his knowledge.
Luth: How dare you defend this cunning deceiver!
SEE: Martin Luther said, "Eschew such thoughts as coming from the Serpent in paradise, but instead look at Christ".
Luth: I don't believe he said that.
The little boy seeing a priest walking on the other side of the street shouted, "Sir"! "Sir"! come here a minute". But at first the Priest ignored him.
Luth: You have no respect, you should address him as ' Father '
See, seeing the Lutheran wasn't paying any attention to him at the moment, spoke softly to his congragation, "The Bible says, "...call no man your father upon earth:".
The Lutheran(looking on over to the Priest) as SEE knew, gave no response to this.
Luth: Be that as it may, but why are you calling him?
SEE: Luther was one of them, and he might know what He said.
Luth: Never.
But the boy shouted all the more. The Priest thinking something was wrong, started across the street.
Bapt: ( Speaking to the Lutheran) "What's this boy
trying to do, start another reformation"?
The Priest greeted him and said, "is something wrong"?
SEE: No Sir, I was just wondering if you could verify that Martin Luther said, "Eschew such thoughts as coming from the Serpent in Paradise, but instead look at Christ".
Priest: By what authority do you say these things? And who gave you this authority to tell these things?
SEE: I will also ask you one question, and answer me, and I will tell you by what authority I tell these things, the works of Luther, was it from the Bible of God, or of Men? Answer me?
And the Priest reasoned with himself, saying, "if I shall say, from the Bible of God", he will say, "Why did you not believe him"? But if I shall say, "of men"; he feared the people; for all Protestants counted Luther, that he was
a man of God indeed. And he answered and said to the little boy, "I can not", and the little boy answering said to him, "Neither do I tell you by what authority I tell these things".
Chapter 3 (an old shack)
By now a very large crowd was gathered around the little boy, and they all marvelled at the authority in which he spake these things. The little boy continued on in a parable.
SEE: There was an old shack surrounded by natural beauty, trees, flowers, and a clear stream of water running through the midst, and anytime the people had troubled times they would come to this place because it represented peace to them, but the old shack impaired their vision. And though they came to this place to fill their hearts with the peace it represented, the appearance of this old shack distracted them. There
was one of them who decided to do something about it besides talking. He went to the owner to see if something could be done. The owner told him it was not for sale. "I wasn't thinking about buying it", said the poor man. "The people are complaining about the old shack and how it hampers their vision, and if it was alright with you, I would remove it seeing no one is living there". The owner was a kind old man, just how old nobody knew, it just seemed like he always was, but the owner told him the old shack must never be torn down, and if he would like to live there, could do so for nothing, providing he never changed anything. "But so many people are upset about it", the poor man said, "and it really does impair the vision". "Here is something for you to learn" the owner said, "Go on the inside, get there early in the morning. Here is the Key. Don't use the side door because it leads to the cellar and it's dark down there. Enter in at the front door".
The next morning at the exact time dawn was breaking, he put the key in the front door. It was very difficult to open for reasons no one had ever tried to open it since the time it was first locked. After subtle reasoning as to how to use the key, he finally got it opened. Upon entering he was astonished. Everything was so precise with every convenience that was necessary and then some. A place fit for a king. The windows were clear as crystal as far as the eye could see, natural beauty in all it's glory with not an eye sore to be seen anywhere. "And to think" he said softly, "I could live here for nothing, providing I didn't change anything, why who would want to change anything? Oh, I can hardly wait to tell the people".
Chapter 4
(beauty, yet to be seen)
On the morning, the people came to fill their hearts with peacefulness. The poor man was standing there all excited to tell them this wonderful news. But how strange, no one could hear him as they were to busy complaining about the eye sore. "But come and see" he pleaded. "What", someone said to him angrily, (because he had interrupted their peace talks) "And have it fall down on us"? But he pleaded all the more "I know how you feel because I too was one of you and only saw it from the outside, for I know how you think as I thought that way too. But once on the inside, the eye sore doesn't exist".
The people scowled at him, for they could plainly see with their own eyes the eye sore, and everytime he tried to tell anybody how things looked from the inside, they repeatedly quoted the outside board for board and nail for nail.
Luth: What is that supposed to mean?
SEE: The point is, it was the key given to man by the owner that unlocked the door no man had ever opened, and it was through this door he could see God's thoughts in the words clear as crystal, with no tempter to be seen anywhere.
Luth: I don't know who teaches you these things, but I know we have been taught by men who devoted their whole lives to God, and we have studied all our lives, and now we are legally qualified to teach others to know God.
SEE: Yes, God told me that.
Priest: Oh! God speaks to you privately?
SEE: No Father, God speaks to no one privately. He speaks openly to the whole world through his written words, where all the world can see and hear what He said. Now the words of God say they are, "Ever learning,
and never able to come to the knowledge of truth". For when man comes into the new covenant it says, "And they shall not teach every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall
know Me, from the least to the greatest".
It is written "ye need not that any man teach you". Because the spirit will teach you all things, and it is obvious you don't know what the spirit is, or you would have never asked me by what authority I say these things.
Priest: What do you say the spirit is?
SEE: I didn't say it, the words of God said it, "the words that I speak unto you they are spirit". Now the word "they", referring to his words, is the spirit. If you need further proof, it is written in the words of God that the spirit speaks and teaches, and further more it states, "it is the spirit that beareth witness, because the spirit is truth". You will find that the concepts of the true come in the first place from words, and the evidence the words produce cannot be overthrown. To do so you must find some other
standard of greater authority, able of itself to convict falsehood by asserting truth, and how can you do that without words?
Luth: If this is so, how does the spirit teach?
SEE: Am I correct in saying the spirit of God is pure?
Luth: That is correct.
SEE: Pure meaning not mix with anything else; free from imperfection; free from moral guilt. Would you say that describes the spirit?
Luth: Exactly.
SEE: In Psalms it says, "the words of the Lord are pure words". Again in Proverbs it says, "Every word of God is pure". From this we see words have the exact quality as the spirit has.
They also do the exact thing the spirit does. They speak in their silent manner and they teach. Now both premises are stated in the words of God, and when the premises stand firm, no one can shake the conclusion. For the pure meaning of the words is the manner in which the spirit teaches God's thoughts in the words. The very words in the Bible describe the "word", and "God", as the same, for it is written that "In the beginning was the word,
and the word was with God, and the word was God". It is obvious then, that only the pure meaning in the word is with God, and any froward or perverse meaning taken from the words of God would be against God's thoughts. God said, "My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are you ways my ways". "All the words of my mouth are in righteousness; there is nothing froward or perverse in them. They are all plain to them that understandeth, and right to them that find knowledge". "But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof: Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you".
Luth: How have we set at nought all God's counsel?
SEE: By staying on the froward, perverse, and fleshly meanings taken from the pure words of God's.
If the temperate meaning of the word was good, the meaning of the word wich is in the opposite condition drags the mind's eye downward and should be prevented from being applied in the reading of God's pure words. While the virtue of God's thoughts in His words are free from the blood they preach, the world is not free from it because they teach it. Does not, like attract like? For so powerful are God's words, that the condition of the world's ways will always be what ever meaning man takes from God's words.
It is no secret that we live in the latter times now that man has the power to release great destruction upon the whole human race. It now becomes a race between this power in the hands of man that can be released at any time, bringing great destruction upon mankind for the sake of peace, against the power in the knowledge of God's words that can be released at any time for real peace. Anytime that is, when man's pride will give way and let God's pure thoughts in his words speak for themselvse. God said, "I will work, and who will let it"? It is written, "Today if ye will hear his voice,
harden not your hearts, as in the provocation".
Now the quality of descerning soundly, the pure thoughts in the words of the Bible, is the voice by which God speaks to the whole world.
Bapt: If what you're saying is true, what happens to our religions?
SEE: It is written, "For that which is done away with was glorious, much more that which remaineth is glorious". In other words, if all man's thoughts from God's words is done away with, and with it goes the divided religions, and now all that remains is God's pure thoughts in the words that can now be taught according to knowledge, "Much more", it says, "is this glorious". Don't you realize what this means? This is not the end, but the ending of the first tabernacle and the beginning of the new. All the people in the world can now come together on one accord in the knowledge of God's words, and every person who believed in God will be needed to help undo the multitude of wrong that has been done in the world. At last, the power of God can begin to work.
Many at first shall rebell against this knowledge like one who is suddenly awaken out of sleep, because of their zeal of God. It is written in the scriptures, "For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge" If you are honest with yourself, you will confess your zeal of God is according to belief. Believing is to hold something as true or opinion. But knowledge denotes clear perception of facts. It is a God written fact that every word of God is pure, and there is nothing froward or perverse in His words. The day of judgement is at hand, to choose the pure thoughts of God's words by God's set of instructions, that can be understood according to knowledge, wherein is the power of God.
It is written, "But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire (truth) against the day of judgement". From the base meaning to the pure meaning, yet from the
"same word".
SEE: Consider the meaning man took from the word "subtle" that God used to describe the Serpent he had made. Man can only see the negative meaning of the word subtle, such as crafty, and cunning, which is surely turned the wrong way from the purity of the word, and so from man's meaning taken from the word, he has created an evil Serpent, sin, and Satan in the minds of mankind from a pure word of God's. It is written that "God saw everything that he had made, and, behold, it was very good". This meant the Serpent also. So how could he, who could think like a man and speak like a man, get the name of Serpent?
Luth: God brought every living creature to Adam to see what he would call them.
SEE: Did he have a name before Adam called him Serpent?
Luth: Why would God bring him to Adam to name if he already had a name?
SEE: Because God didn't bring them to Adam to name, God brought them to Adam to see what he would call them. For God gave the names to things before he made them, and called them what he wanted them called. He named light before there was light, and called the light day. He named man before there was man, for he said, "Let us make man". For God created by the words. When he made him which is called Serpent, it must have been something very special, because he made the Serpent more subtle, than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. Now the word subtle which God used to describe this Serpent means very fine mental distinctions. And considering he was more subtle, more, meaning even greater analysis than any beast of the field. The field is the sphere of observation, and the word beast shows he was made of the strength to carry the burden that was laid on him. Now anyone made of this quality was certainly qualified to help anyone for understanding things. Now, when God said, "I will make him an help meet for him". It was then he brought every living thing to Adam to see what he would call them. After Adam finished calling them what he called them it says, "but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him". The very next line tells what happened when he didn't recognize his help meet, for it says, "a deep sleep fell upon Adam and he slept".
The clergy had the look of lions waiting to jump on their prey. If it weren't for SEE being in the midst of the congregation, it might have been a case of Daniel in the lion's den. The Lutheran lashed out at SEE and said, "Now that's where you're wrong, because it wasn't until after his deep sleep that God made him a woman for his help meet".
SEE: Well, she wasn't much help, was she? The first thing she did was cause him to sin.
A burst of laughter rang out, an even the clergy couldn't help but smile a little.
SEE: Now let us look at this intelligently. God did not say I will make (her) an help meet for him, He said, "I will make him an help meet for him", And as he spoke this, it was done, for it is written in Psalms, "For he spake, and it was done". Now this help meet was something to assist him in understanding, not something that would make him fall. All mankind has been brought to all his words, to see what he would call them. And man has taken the baser meanings from God's words to be the thoughts in God's words. So all mankind is guilty of not finding the help meet the Lord God had made for him, and a deep sleep has fallen upon mankind. The words of God say, "and that; knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed".
The people were just amazed at the plainess of the understanding of God's words, from the way SEE explained. And how difficult the words seemed from the way they were taught to believe. By now the people had formed a circle around SEE, and just sat down on the grass in the shade of the big tree. It was obvious they were not going anywhere until they heard more. The clergy were still standing by the church steps.
Someone said, "Tell us plainly SEE, if the Serpent be our help meet or not, for if he is, the whole world has done a great injustice to him".
SEE: This has been the stone of stumbling from the beginning, and a rock of offence. But it is written, "the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner". Now let me read from God's words and let them tell you about this subtle Serpent God had made.
SEE reached out his hand for a Bible, and one of the ladies promptly handed it to him. He turned to Isaiah and began to read. "Behold, my servant shall deal prudently, he shall be exalted and extolled, and be very high. As many were astonied at thee; his visage was so marred more than any man, and his form more than the sons of men; So shall he sprinkle many nation; the kings shall shut their mouths at him: for that which has not been told them shall they see; and that which they had not heard shall they consider". (SEE looked around and said,) "Now this is what has never been told, and this is that which you have not heard, about the most subtle beast of the field that the Lord God ever made, who spoke once, yea twice, in the Garden of Eden where deep sleep fell upon men". It is written in the scriptures, "Why dost thou strive against him"? "He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray: we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth":
Upon these statements of scriptures, the clergy became frightened. These verses have always been referred to Jesus. A sort of panic of astonishment came over the people, and they stared in a bewildered way at one another at what they were hearing. One thing they had to admit was true, this had never been told them; and now that they heard, would they consider: All the clergymens thoughts were confused, and you could see the sterness in their eyes; but straightway the sterness vanished away, and gave place to an ____expression of wondering surprise. They glanced at each other by a common and unconscious impulse. The thought in each mind was the same: "What a strange resemblance", said the Baptist. " Why these statements fit the Serpent and Jesus exactly alike". It was a very strange feeling. Nothing like it had ever been heard before. Everybody agreed on that. The Baptist said to the Lutheran, "say something to your people, this could be perilous to the church and to us all, to entertain so fateful a riddle as this; it could divide the religions even greater and undermine the throne of God".
The Lutheran was as amazed as the rest, but quickly recovered himself after the Baptist minister made him realize the seriousness of this riddle. So he took a firm stand and exclaimed in a voice of authority.
LUTH: We have listened long enough, and now I'm going to show how wrong you are and put a stop to this riddle. It just so happens I have this newspaper article which I am refering to in my sermon today. Now listen--The Rev. Dr. Robert W. Spike, general secretary for program in the Board for Homeland Ministries, United Church of Christ, told of the needs in an address before the annual assemble of the Division of Home Missions of the National Council of Churches. Dr. Spike said the four most urgent needs he outlined have been discussed repeatedly but they must be acted upon "Because Christ is here, and not waiting in a text book to be released in a new translation". So you see, SEE, you can forget that nonsense about him being revealed from the purity of the words.
SEE: Well, didn't he give any reasons for saying that? like, Christ is here because peace reigns over the whole world, they have beat their swords into plow shares, and their spears into prunninghooks: nation does not lift up sword against nation, for they learn war no more. Therefore, Christ is here. Now did he give any reason like that? or did he just boldly state, "Christ is here" ! Because it is written "Lo, I come in the volume of the book".
LUTH: (ignoring Key's last remark, went on to say) He doesn't have to give any reasons because we respect his position and there-fore we respect what he says.
SEE: Do you respect Jesus' position?
LUTH: Certainly.
SEE: Then you respect the words that he speaks.
LUTH: We most certainly do.
SEE: Jesus said, "Then if any man shall say unto you Lo, here is Christ or there; believe it not". Need I say more? I can if necessary.
LUTH: It's not necessary, for despite what you think, I am still giving my sermon today which is entitled "Christ is here".
SEE: I must say your people will be overjoyed after the sermon you gave them last week.
LUTH: How do you know what I said last week?
SEE: I was up the tree last week also, and I could hear you through the open window telling them how someday they would all see Christ coming in the clouds with great power and glory. I can picture it all now, when you shout "Christ is here"! What a stampede to the nearest exits and windows.
A burst of laughter rang out and stopped just as suddenly, when they saw the disapproving looks on the minister.
SEE: Well, how can this be? He is here, and yet He is coming?
They all marvelled at SEE'S subtle distinctions.
SEE: If he is here, he fooled me, because nothing has changed, except now they war and kill in greater quantity with the most powerful devices know to man. But I must give them credit, as they are trying hard to be like the God that has taught them. Maybe someday man too can destroy the whole world. (This seemed unfair to nail them to the wall because of their sincereness in their love to God, but this was not the purpose of SEE, for somebody had to wake them out of sleep seeing there is not that much time left.)
SEE: Is not this a terrible thought that now it is possible for man to rein great destruction upon the whole human race at any time for the sake of peace? Why then, is it thought to be a righteous thing when it is thought that God destroyed the whole world? But these thoughts that God destroyed the whole world, killed all the first born, burnt cities to the ground and such like, are man's thoughts from God's words from the baser meanings of words. For this is the first tabernacle from his words and his glory cannot be revealed as long as this first tabernacle is still standing. For all words of God are symbols which represent God's thoughts and cannot itself be visualized until you have understanding of words. The very words of God have prepared man for this, for it is written: "Beloved, think it not strange concerning the firey trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy".
There was absolute silence as the people listened to every word. Many times the people had questioned their minister on such things and never got an answer that could be understood by some kind of rule. It was either a believe it or not answer, or an endless geneology which left them in the dark as much as before, but they would always smile and say, "I see".
Chapter 5
(Christ represents Truth)
Now here was this little boy after their own hearts, for they were hearing the words of God for the first time in a manner that could be taught according to knowledge. For some reason they had the feeling they could ask him questions about God without feeling foolish for asking them. One of the ladies said, "SEE, where did the word Christ come from anyway? It doesn't appear in the Old Testament at all, then all of a sudden it just pops up in the New Testament as if we should already know what the word means, if it has meaning, or is it just a name"?
SEE: (without hesitation) "The word Christ represents the truth of God".
The lady seemed satisfied with the answer, then she asked, "What do you say the word Serpent means? If it has a meaning or is it just a name"?
SEE: The Serpent being the most subtle thing God ever made, and seeing the purity of the word subtle is characterized by very fine mental distinctions, sharpness of perception and analysis, and considering the Serpent was even more subtle, meaning ever greater perception and analysis, then anyone God gave these credentials, is certainly qualified to represent truth.
BAPT: I thought you said Christ represented truth?
SEE: Who is Christ? Some say he is Jesus, some say he is not. Some say he is coming back to earth, some say he is here. When you find the knowledge of God you will know who he is.
They all stared at one another in a bewildered way, as the thought of a question, who is Christ? had never entered their minds.
BAPT: Are you trying to tell us that this--Serpent, is . . .? He stopped right there for he just couldn't say it.
SEE: It is written, "to them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation". This one called Serpent by Adam and all mankind, who was more subtle, was able to see the woman's judgement of the trees was in error. For when the Serpent first spoke to the woman to inquire of her understanding of the trees, the woman replied that she was not aloud to eat of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, and howbeit, the tree in the midst of the garden was the Tree of Life. Now if the woman had said, "But of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil thou shalt not eat of it" then she would have had it right, but as the case was, the Serpent rightfully spoke the second time for her correction. So because he stood up to help the woman to understand, they (religions), accused him of tempting. Now they did eat of the tree of which God had commanded them, but saying, "thou shalt not eat of it". They were a victim of holding good for evil, and evil for good. Did not anybody think it strange, that if the Serpent was the cause of all this sin in the world, why then, should God have granted the Serpent final victory over man? for he said to the Serpent "It shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heal". "When he was oppressed and afflicted, he opened not his mouth"; for the Lord God did not say to the Serpent, What is this thou hast done? and thereby giving him a chance to defend himself, but he said, "Because thou hast done this thou art cursed". How many men down through the ages who took there stand for truth could this be said of them, because thou hast done this thou are cursed? What happened to Galileo is an excellent example, when he took his stand for the truth of God's laws of nature. God gave Adam and Eve a chance to explain, for God asked Adam if he had eaten of the tree; He also asked the woman, "What is this thou hast done"? We have heard their answers, and now we shall hear his. Out of the Serpent's root will come the knowledge and causes which produces a fruitful Bible, nothing being contrary to reason. "Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand".
It is knowledge alone that clears the mind of all perturbations. Would not to be lost in error create them? Then it is evident the truth was crossed in the 3rd chapter of Genisis, for it was this chapter alone that man brought sin and Satan upon himself from choosing a baser meaning in the words of God, and research has gone into bypath ending in the air. It is here then, we must take up the cross. "For all the religions from the Bible ignore the Serpent's cause, and all the religions are against him and say the most injurious things about him, but we never hear his side. They have only the evidence for the prosecution and yet they have rendered a virdict". This is not only an injustice to the Serpent, but as long as this verdict stands, how does this make God look? For he made the Serpent. What does God think about all this? God said, "None calleth for justice, nor any pleadeth for truth: How long will you judge unjustly"? God has asked everyone to return again and take another look at this Serpent he had made, for it is written, "Return I pray you, let it not be iniquity; yea, return again, My righteuosness is in it". "If thy whole body therefore be full of light, having no part dark, the whole shall be full of light". Therefore, if the whole Bible be full of light having no part dark, such as the beginning of the 3rd chapter of Genesis, then the whole Bible shall be full of light. It was not the Serpent that deceived, but rather they deceived themselves by believing HE deceived. From this cause came religions, which are only meant as a figure for a time, where both gifts and sacrifices are offered. Time has revealed that all this could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience; which only stood in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on them, for the higher value of life is not yet made manifest, because all this still is from what is nought.
Chapter 6
(if it be of God...)
All eyes were on the clergy, for they expected some kind of an out-cry here. Their faces looked troubled as they talked this over among themselves. One of them said, "How did we get trapped into this blasphemous conversation, and what's the best way to handle it"?
Bapt: There is no sense in creating a scene, let's just walk away. They'll think better on this tomorrow.
Luth: No! That's not the answer. Supposing-- just supposing, what he is saying turns out to be true. God forbid! But just think a minute, if what he's saying turns out to be true, how does that make us look if we turn our backs on it?
Bapt: Tell them this is the Anti-Christ. Say something, not for my sake, but for Christ's sake.
But the Lutheran was recalling what SEE said about knowledge and belief. Something about if your religion was based on belief, and the higher you built on that, how great is that fall if the foundation is removed were the belief was sitting.
Bapt: Why are you silent? Has this boy shaken your belief? We have made up our minds, we are leaving. Besides, this is your congregation.
Luth: Wait! It is written in the words of God, "If this counsel or this work be of men, it will come to naught. But if it be of God, ye cannot over throw it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God".
Because of this they decided to stay a little longer. It was a very tense moment, everybody seemed to be waiting for somebody to say something. Finaly the Lutheran said, "What do you mean the higher value of life is not yet made manifest, because all this still is from what is naught"?
SEE: The higher value of life cannot be made manifest until it is made clear by the words of God, that the Serpent is innocent or guilty. For this is still not made clear in the minds of the teachers of the religions, as they are still baffled over this Serpent God had made, for they say: "Here we face the greatest of all mysteries, the most significant of all secrets, the most unanswerable of all questions. How could God---who is all powerful, all Holy and all loving---have created evil, or permitted the Devil to create it"? So as long as the first tabernacle is still standing, the power of God cannot come until man abandons such evil thoughts about the most subtle thing God ever made, and return to a good state of mind, knowing God saw everything He had made was very good. But man looks upon the Serpent as the one thing God did not make so very good. All this because of man choosing a corrupt meaning from one word, "subtle" and reflected this corrupt meaning to this Serpent God had made. God said, "That make a man an offender for a word, and lay a snare for him that reproveth in the gate, and turn aside the just for a thing of naught". The "thing of naught", meaning no Devil. This is verified in the New Testament, for the words of God say, "I have not a Devil". This was too much for the clergy. This was one of the important points of their religion to help cast out the Devil in your life. And here was this boy trying to tell them there is no Devil from God to cast out.
Priest: This is ridicules, to think there is no Devil. Everybody knows he came from God's Son of the morning, Lucifer, who had fallen from heaven. The next thing he'll be telling us is that we only use the Devil for a crutch so we don't have to blame ourselves for all the wrong in the world. I'll not stay here another minute and be led by this little child.
The thought there was no Devil in God's beautiful Garden was more than the clergy could understand. They turned on their heals and left in a hurry. No one else moved, because never before had they ever been so interested in the words of God. All their lives this story about the Serpent never made sense but they never had the courage to question the teachers of God's words. But there was this strange little boy that made it seem like a pleasure to talk about these things.
Chapter 7
(cain & abel)
One of the ladies sitting next to the little boy said, "Could you tell us about Cain and Abel? I have never met one person who could explain where Cain's wife came from that made any sense".
SEE: I would be glad to.
As SEE began to speak, the people moved in closer now that the preachers were gone, so they could hear every word.
SEE: There was Adam and Eve. Her first born was Cain and her second born was Abel. Abel was a keeper of sheep but Cain was the tiller of the ground. In the process of time, Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the Lord. And the Lord had no respect unto Cain and his offering. Why? Does not our thoughts of the tiller of the ground and the fruit of the ground refer to a farmer raising fruit and vegetables? Is that so terrible? Just don't offer them to the Lord, is that it?
The people laughed.
SEE: Or could it be our thoughts of "the tiller of the ground", are not the same thoughts that God has put in these words? For God said, "My thoughts are not your thoughts". So let us examine these words. "a tiller of the ground" and "the fruit of the ground". One who tills the ground turns the ground upside down. Isaiah 29:9 "Surely your turning of things upside down shall be esteemed as the potter's clay". Do you suppose then that Cain is representing the way we teach God's words? God seems to be implying this here when he says, "surely your turning of things upside down shall be esteemed as the potters clay". Therefore if we are teaching God's words with the wrong understanding and just as upside down as our first born thoughts about the sun, then I can understand him not having any respect of the fruit of these teachings. But not farmers who by the sweat of their brow earn a hard honest living by tilling the ground to produce the fruit of the ground.
"Doesn't that make more sense already"? one of them said.
SEE: Consider the earthly meanings we take from the word "fruit" as it appears in this sentence. "Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering to the Lord". By holding God's words so literally, when they are supposed to be written in the spirit of things, you can only see tomatoes, apples, pears, etc... But why would God have need of these things? Is not his whole purpose to reap the fruit from the teachings of His righteousness? Is not this also the purpose of the church to bring the fruit of their teachings of God's works? What is the definition of the word fruit? The dictionary says it is any ripened seed vessel with the seeds inside, together with the adjacent tissues. Adjacent means agree in the idea of nearness. Does not this idea agree in the nearness of Cain; that the fruit of our religion may be from tilling the ground upside down, which may be the reason why the words of God are of none affect. Consider now, are not millions of people praying for peace everyday, and have been for years and years? Is not this the constant theme of all the popes, peace on earth? It is written in Proverbs 1:28 "Then they shall call upon me, but I will not answer". Why? Could it be for the same reason the Lord had no respect unto Cain and his offering? The scriptures say, "The simple believeth every word: but the prudent man looketh well to his going". This is what we are doing here, observing and taking notice of God's words with the nature of things. "If thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding; if thou seeketh her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures; then shalt thou understand the fear of the Lord, and find the knowledge of God".
Now we shall see what Abel represents. "Abel was the keeper of sheep". A keeper is one who watches, guards, supports, to observe anything prescribed, to have charge or care of. So let us consider why the Lord had respect unto Abel and to his offering. Abel's offerings were the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. Here again if we judge by appearance, we see a rancher bringing the firstlings of his flock and the fat thereof as his offering to the Lord. But why would the Lord have respect for firstlings of sheep as an offering? Is not his whole purpose still the same? To reap the fruit from the teachings of his righteousness and not sheep? So what is meant by "the firstlings of his flock and the fat thereof"? The fat thereof is the best or riches part. Technically, fats are neutral compounds. Neutral is not taking part on either side in a conflict, and compound is to put together, as seperate parts, so as to form a whole. Firstlings, are the first of a kind, and a flock is a number of birds or of animals of one kind living together. And that's the way it will be when the wisdom and knowledge of His books are searched out and revealed. It will teach all religions exactly. "One kind living together" But as it is now, there are hundreds of different kinds of religions dividing us. For the fruit of his first born thoughts of God's words has divided, divided, and divided. For we, like Cain have tilled the ground upside down. And in a sense, we have brought death to the inward part of the word or the intelligence of His words, wherein lies the wisdom and knowledge. And so to till the ground upside down is the so called killing of Abel. "But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beast, in those things they corrupt themselves. Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core." "Tell ye and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath declared this from ancient time"? It is time to cast off the way of Cain and become a keeper of sheep, to observe, and take notice of these dark and obscure sayings in the Bible until we are of one kind living together, so that the Lord may also have respect for the firstlings of our flock. "A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsel".
Chapter 8
(cain's wife)
Now we come to the question of where did Cain's wife come from? For any man who has a desire to learn would be curious. For God is a god of knowledge and "not the author of confusion". Therefore the words of God are not to be pieced together with the imagination of man.
The very obvious question as to where Cain's wife came from is passed over very quickly, assuming there are certain things that are hid from man. And they frown on all those who bring the question to mind as if these men are trying to cast doubts on their God. "Fear them not therfore; for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed, and hid, that shall not be known". If you have granted that the Lord's whole purpose is to reap the fruit from the teachings of his rightiousness, and not tomatoes, apples, or pears, then you may see that Cain represents the preaching of the words of God but has the ground tilled upside down. "And Cain went out from the presence of the Lord, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden".
Now Cain rose up against the inward part, which is the so called killing of Abel. This was the beginning of the outward part, which is the religions we have today. The wife Cain knew is "the church." For the man was not made for the woman; but the woman was made for man.
Let us take a look at this wife Cain knew, in accordance with the instructions of scriptures as to how to look at things. First it says, "Judge not according to the appearance". Because, "things which are seen were not made of things that do appear". Therefore, if we disregard the lesson we should have learned from the sun and the advise of the scriptures, then we see a pregnant woman giving birth; a woman that does not even exist according to what God has created up to this point. Of course some religions say they didn't record the birth of women in those days. Others will plainly tell you it was Cain's sister. And so the hard to be sought out answers are skipped over and pieced together with the imagination of man causing the divided religions to become even more divided. The word "conceive" does not only mean a pregnant woman, it also means to form an idea in one's mind; to imagine. Conceive, suggest the mental grasping of something as a notion. A notion is an idea of whatever may be known or imagined; a theory, belief, or opinion. Therefore, it was not the woman that Cain knew, (which is not accounted for) but the church, (which is accounted for) that conceived and gave birth to the religions of the world. So as our first born thoughts of the sun were judged by appearance, so also we have judged by appearance the words of God. Such is the manner of the words of God were preached until it flooded the whole world with this doctrine. "For this is as the waters of Noah unto me". Now this is the kind of water that flooded the whole world, and this is the water that Jesus walked on, and as you can see, I've been doing a little walking on it myself. "He sure has", said one of the members.
Chapter 9
(tower of babel)
SEE: Before this flood, the whole earth was of one religion. For it was not until after this flood that they became divided. "And the Lord said, behold, the people is one, and they all have one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. Go to, let us go down, and confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speach." So the Lord scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth; and they left off to build the city", But he did not say they left off to build a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; but the city, where the world would have been under the soul rule of their understanding of God's words. But the tower, whose top may reach unto heaven, is still their goal. Therefore it was necessary that the first religion became divided, as it was founded on the appearance of things from man's first born thoughts of things. And this city they were going to build, was to bring about one rule under God to all the world. But they "had bricks for stone and slime had they for mortar". "Stone" is the word of God they were using to build this city, the religion, but they had bricks for stone and bricks are made of clay by man. In other words, they were preaching the words of God but formed his understanding of God's words from the world of sight in the literal sense. And "slime they had for mortar". Now slime especially means something offensive, and this is the manner the words of God are still taught today. Even one man's religion is offensive to another man's religion. For mortar they should have used a strong bond for uniting the words of God, such as reason and understanding. But this is why it was necessary to confound their interpretation of His words, that they may not understand one another's religion, because "they had brick for stone, and slime had they for mortar".
One of the ladies said, "they told us this is where the different languages came from".
SEE: Yes, I know, but many people know three, four, or more different languages, and can understand perfectly in each one of them. But it is impossible for any one to serve God faithfully in the Jewish faith and the Catholic faith at the same time, let alone adding the Protestant faith or a few more. But different languages are not offensive to each other.
"Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the Lord did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the Lord scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth".
Chapter 10
(to see those higher things)
Such is the way God's words are now understood by the mind's eye, for if God is a god of intelligence, then His words must be understood by intelligence. Seeing intelligence cannot be present in anything which is devoid of the mind's eye, then we must search the words of God with the mind's eye. But it was necessary to first preach his words earthly, so that afterward we could see those higher things by the mind's eye, yet from the same word. For it would be impossible to be an afterward if the natural was not first preached, and thereby never being able to see those higher things in life. The natural reading of God's words bearing the image of the earthly, was our first born, which is the baptizing with water. But seeing we must be born again, and this time by the spirit. We must now understand by the spirit of the word. "Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever". In other words, not with the earthly meanings of the words, but by the spirit of the word, God's pure thought in the word.
The people were amazed and marvelled at hearing the words of God in a manner they could understand. One of the ladies said, "SEE, you said the words are symbols, and something about having to have understanding of words to be able to know them. Are you saying we don't understand words"?
SEE: Yes mam, that's what I'm saying.
Lady: How is it, then, that we use them?
SEE: Use is one thing, and understanding another. Because it is taken for granted that man put the meaning in the words, as if they were putting sight into the eyes of the blind, then words to you mean no more then a descriptive vocabulary that you employ. To embody categories and distinction drawn from the world of sight. If you could conceive, "in the beginning was the word", then by the mind's eye you can understand them intelligently by nature. I did not say you don't know how to use them, in fact, you do this very well in finding out the knowledge of many things, but the learning of many things teaches not understanding. Consider what happens when you read the word "water" from God's words with the world of sense perception in the meaning. It is thought that a man walked on water, but this is because the distinction of the word is drawn from the world of sense perception, and therefore they can only identify water with water, which allows this miracle to take place in your mind. Consider the literal meaning they take from the word "fire" in the words of God. It can make anyone fear God in the most terrible way. In what sense do you fear God? Fear is to have a reverent awe of solemn wonder in view of something great, or terrible. Is it great, or is it terrible, that an all merciful God should cast anyone into a lake of fire? We know man's thoughts taken from the word fire of God's word, but what thought has God put into the word "fire"? It is written in the words of God that, "Every man's work shall be made manifest". For the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. Now, is every man's work made manifest because it is revealed by fire? or truth? It is written in the words of God, "In the latter days you will consider it perfectly". Perfect means lacking nothing essential, whole, complete, also flawless. Therefore if you do not look upon the Bible as a whole, that reveals it's truth through it's own rules, then you cannot truly know that what I am showing you is truth. Now truth is only revealed through truth, by it's own set rule, not man's. Search the scriptures, God's counsel is not hard to follow. If you come across a word that has good and evil meanings, choose the good. The words of God plainly state many times in many ways to "obstain from all appearence of evil, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good". For to take the baser meaning from a word of God's, is the way the truth is evil spoken of.
It is not hard to find God's thought in the word, seeing "there is nothing froward or perverse in them", this can only leave the pure meaning in the word not affected by the other meanings in the word. The pure meaning in the word is the manner in which God's voice is heard. And in that day, all God's words shall come to light and "speak face to face". Reproving all man's ways of what he thought was God's ways. For God said, "I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not; I will lead them in paths that they have not known": "Thou has heard, see all this; and will ye not declare it? I have shewed thee new things from this time, even hidden things, and thou didst not know them. They are created now, and not from the beginning; even before the day when thou heardest them not; lest thou shouldest say, Behold, I knew them". It is not hard to hear God's voice, just follow His counsel for understanding His words and He will make them known. Let them speak in their silent manner in the present tense, and see how plain, and clear, they speak openly to the whole world. "Let all the nations be gathered together, and let the people be assembled: who among them can declare this, and shew us former things? Let them bring forth their witnesses, that they may be justified: or let them hear, and say, it is truth".
A hush came over the congregation, for what the boy was saying about God's words was becoming plain to them. The boy seeing they had all they could digest for now, said, "I could tell you things about words you know not of, but you cannot bear them now; until then, let the spirit of His words be your guide, for the spirit will teach you all things".
"Why can't we bear them now", some one asked ?
SEE: If I told you the nature by which the words exist, you would not believe me. It is enough for now to learn the purity in the word. For this is the beginning to the knowledge of God's words. And as the spirit of the word, or pure meaning of the word, teaches you things no man has taught you, you will begin to perceive this could not be so except for the nature by which they exist. For words are the eldest of powers which is an honor to them; and a proof of this claim to this honor is, that of their parents there is no memorial; neither poet nor prose-writer has ever affirmed that they had any. From here, all the ancient writings will be looked upon in a new light, it will prove the ancient writings will be an everlasting well of knowledge of great things they did not know before. For these are mansions of all the world's thoughts. "If it were not so, I would not have told you so". For it is written, "Lo, I will bring a nation upon you from far, saith the Lord: it is a mighty nation, it is an ancient nation, a nation whose language thou knowest not, neither understandest what they say". "With the ancient is wisdom; and in length of days understanding", I have shown you the way to the knowledge of God's words. But don't look upon me as if I am your savior, for that would be like giving praise to the moon as if it were the great light, when it is only the reflection of that true light. When you search the words of God with his spirit in the words, you will see my brother Key. Then you will see that true light.
When the boy had finished speaking, all was silent, and it was as if some great light had blinded their eyes. And while they had all turned toward one another to hear what they thought about all this, the little boy quietly walked away, for he knew the day of reason was close at hand. And when it would fully come, they would be on one accord of Christ. "For this reason it was expedient that he go away", for the same reason the light of the moon cannot rule at the same time as the sun.
